Right of withdrawal
This is a translation for convenience. In case of doubt, the German version at /de/widerruf governs.
There is none here — and there is a reason
The statutory right of withdrawal for distance contracts (§§ 312g, 355 German Civil Code) applies towards consumers (§ 13 BGB). Rebounz is directed exclusively at entrepreneurs (§ 14 BGB): businesses that want to run a loyalty programme for their shop. Anyone booking it for their business acts in the course of their trade or self-employed activity — and the right of withdrawal does not apply to them.
This page exists nonetheless, because the question is a fair one and a missing page would look like an omission.
What applies instead
No withdrawal is needed, because there is no commitment:
- During the pilot phase, use is free of charge.
- During the pilot phase the Customer may terminate at any time, without notice.
- After that, 30 days' notice to the end of a month applies.
- Data can be exported and taken along at any time.
The details are in the terms and conditions, § 3 and § 8.
For guests
Anyone starting a loyalty card with a business enters into no contract with me. The relationship is with that business; how it shapes its rewards is its decision. A card can be given up at any time — and every guest may ask the business to erase their data.
